The work of the National PTA to elevate every child’s potential through family engagement and community connection aligns deeply with the mission of Bridging Legacies Across Campuses (BLAC). While BLAC’s foundation is rooted in supporting BIPOC students and families, its programming is designed to strengthen academic readiness, inclusive leadership, and student belonging across all communities.

BLAC’s offerings—including readiness checklists, DEIB engagement toolkits, mentorship opportunities, and culturally responsive storytelling—complement the National PTA’s efforts to empower families and equip students for long-term success. Both organizations recognize that student achievement is not just an academic goal, but a community-driven endeavor shaped by access, visibility, and support.

By collaborating with PTA leaders at the local and national level, BLAC can help ensure that family engagement practices reflect the full diversity of today’s school communities and that all students—especially those navigating systemic barriers—are prepared to thrive in a changing world. Together, we can make success more inclusive, more intentional, and more sustainable for generations to come.

Inclusivity is foundational to a thriving school community. The Strengthening Our Community: Inclusivity Diagnostic Survey seeks to gather critical insights directly from families. Your valuable input will help us better understand current experiences, identify areas of strength, and uncover opportunities for meaningful growth and improvement. Together, we can ensure every family feels valued, represented, and empowered within our schools. All responses will remain anonymous, and your honest feedback is highly encouraged and appreciated.
