Sundi Lofty

Episcopal High School of Alexandria, VA

1994

Sundi Lofty graduated from Episcopal High School, where she served as a Monitor and a member of the Honor Committee, in 1994. 


She was also involved in the drama department, was a Shakespeare Fellow and was co-captain of the Track and Field team. While at EHS, she competed for the Jefferson Scholarship at the University of Virginia, which awarded her a four year academic scholarship.   


Currently, Sundi is a freelance Creative Director, Writer, and Producer with over twelve years experience in TV, Film, and new media production. She holds a B.A. in English and a Master of Teaching (Secondary English Education) from the University of Virginia as well as a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from New York University. She has created content for Smithsonian Channel, Refinery29, Oxygen Media, Fuse Media, Viacom/BET, Food Network, TLC, Travel Channel, Retired Living, AsPire, and TV One. Her work includes docu-reality series, news/info and entertainment specials, on-air promos, interstitials, integrated marketing, and digital and social spots. Her scripted work has placed at the Austin Film Festival (AMC's Original Pilot Competition), Slamdance (Teleplay Competition), Urbanworld Film Festival, and has earned her a spot in the CBS Writers Mentoring Program.
