Milka Mered is a 2020 graduate of the College of William and Mary of Williamsburg, VA.
Milka is the Director of Operations at LMSvoice. In her role, Milka oversees operational logistics for LMSvoice under the Chief Executive Officer, which includes LMScurriculum, LMSstorytellers, and LMSstudio. In addition to her role, Milka also co-hosts LMSchat, a monthly video podcast series through LMScurriculum where she interviews renowned poets discussing underrepresented topics in poetry, culture, and more.
Graduating from William & Mary in 2020, Milka utilizes her Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and minor in Educational Studies to foster equity and inclusion for students, employees, and community members. Throughout her undergraduate and postgraduate career, Milka worked extensively to improve educational environments for students and educators. Some efforts included conducting research on the BIPOC student experience and co-developing a student-faculty pedagogical partnership program geared to increase inclusive practices in the classroom. Milka has received numerous awards for her efforts, including the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award (2020). As she expands in her role as Director of Operations for LMSvoice, she is eager to strategize new ways to encourage diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in the environments that she occupies.
