After graduating from Episcopal in 2000, Bernard attended Union College, where he received his BA in Visual Arts.
At Union, he set the school record in the 200 meter race and was part of the record breaking 4x100 team, he also earned All League, State and East Coast Honors in Track and Field at Union. After graduating from college, he worked with the Football Team and was an assistant Track and Field Sprint Coach for Union.
He moved back to BA from upstate NY and became a car salesman in Tyson's Corner. Bernard traded the auto-sales industry for property management where he has worked for the last 14 years.
He has earned Presnts Club recognition 4 times.He is currently the Sales Manger at a property down the street from the Holy Hill. He recently got engaged to another Episcopal alumna, Daniela Ruano '05. They live in Marylany with their two dogs.
