Andile-Amajaha Tshuma

Episcopal High School of Alexandria, VA

2017

Andile-Amajaha Tshuma graduated from Episcopal High School of Alexandria, VA in 2017.

Andile came to Episcopal as a new Sophomore in 2014. Originally from Zimbabwe, Andile was part of the soccer team, winter and spring track.  Unfortunately, Andile was dealing with injuries quite a bit; eventually, Andile became a team manager. Besides soccer, Andile was a senior waiter, worked in the post office, and dog sat and babysat for almost every faculty member on campus.

Upon Graduation from Andile went to Sewanee where he was part of the varsity soccer team for four years while working two jobs at the time.  He was a Shift Manager at Stirling's Coffee House and was a Student Assistant at the University of the South Technology Help Desk.   Every summer break from college, Andile would work with the grounds crew on the EHS campus, and do whatever odd job to make sure that he had some money.

Andile graduated from Sewanee with a BA in Economics and a Minor in Education. His goal was to become a teacher but as an international student, you can only get a job in a field that is related to your degree. Andile worked as a Junior Asset Manager for Foundation Housing in North Bethesda, MD for the past 11 months.  Foundation Housing is one of the pioneers of Affordable Housing with Assets worth close to 4 Billion dollars in 25 States.

Andile just accepted a new job as an Asset Manager for Fairstead, a Real Estate Company in New York, but working remotely in the Bethesda office. He is excited to learn as much as I can in the Real Estate Industry.
