We will be showcasing individuals from the past, and present, who have made a lasting impact in their communities, and the world. From Harriet Tubman and Frederick Douglass, to contemporary leaders like Oprah Winfrey and Kamala Harris.
It is important to recognize and honor the contributions of Black/African American individuals, not just during Black History Month, but all year round. Their stories and legacies are a reminder of the strength, resilience, and determination of our community. It is also important to remember that their contributions are not just about the past, but also about the present and the future.
