Gerald Chapman

Gerald D. Chapman graduated from Alabama State University in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Mathematics.

 

In May 1979, the National Association of Black Narcotic Agents (NABNA) was officially incorporated as a Non-profit, 501 C (3) Organization in Atlanta, Georgia. The Organization’s charter and bylaws were signed and registered by eight Special Agents (SA) of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) of African American descent. Amongst those eight Black Special Agents was Gerald D. Chapman.

 

Gerald later graduated from Atlanta University with a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration, Organization and Command, Executive Decision Making in 1985.

 

Mr. Chapman has dedicated over 30 years to increasing operational effectiveness in the Federal Law Enforcement Community by developing professional relationships with domestic, national and International Law Enforcement Community, Intelligence Community, as well as corporate and civilian communities. He served for 28 years as a Special Agent in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) conducting a variety of criminal and civil investigations and other violations of federal statutes.

 

In September 2009, Chapman’s federal appointment expired and he joined Alpha Protective Services as an independent contractor and conducted inspections of the TSA Airport Program under the Homeland / TSA Office of Inspection. Gerald conducted programmatic reviews of the various TSA airports and office facilities until September 2010 when he was offered a position with SAVA under the Federal Sector Program as a Subject Matter Expert with assignment at FBIHQS in Washington, D.C.
