Chidirim Ejim obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2000 from the University of Malta of Msida, Malta.
He completed his high school education in 1991 at the Federal Government College, Azare in Nigeria. He attended the University of Nigeria, Nsukka before proceeding to the University of Malta, Malta. Chidirim pursued a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Canada, and obtained a Master of Applied Science Degree in 2003. He moved to Edmonton Alberta, where he attended the University of Alberta, Canada, and obtained a Doctorate Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2008.
Chidirim joined the oil & gas service company, Schlumberger, in 2007. He worked in the New Product Development team within the artificial lift segment for over 7 years in the US and Singapore in areas of downhole pump design, downhole pump & separator testing, as well as design, engineering, and testing of horizontal surface pumping systems. Chidirim joined an oil & gas operating company in 2014, where he continues to be heavily involved in the Research, Development, and testing of artificial lift systems.
