Octavio Peralta graduated from EHS in 2000. He grew up in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and attended a small, Jesuit middle school that lead him to EHS.
He came back to NY to attend The School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. Upon graduation, the family restaurant business was his focus for a few years before taking his first ever vacation. A four month break turned into multiple years of living in the Dominican Republic with his ailing father who needed assistance managing his business and assets. Octavio came back to NYC and decided to go back to school and spent the past few years in a premedical post baccalaureate program in CUNY and working in dermatology up until the pandemic.
