John Bonhom II

1999

John Bonhom is a 1999 graduate of Woodberry Forest School of Woodberry Forest, Virginia.    


John Bonhom grew up in Washington, DC. He has served as a school administrator in the fields of admission, enrollment management, and financial aid at prestigious schools in Maryland and New Hampshire for over 18 years. John has also served as a teacher, academic advisor, committee leader, program coordinator, coach, and project manager, among other roles. 


Currently, John is the Assistant Head of School for External Affairs at the Indian Creek School where he works closely with the admission office, development, marketing, communications and the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.  


John received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Educational Studies with a concentration in Social Class and Urban Education from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He earned his Master of Arts Degree in Education with a concentration in School Administration at Michigan State University, in East Lansing, Michigan. His research at Michigan focused on multicultural education, and especially issues of diversity and inclusion in schools.
