David Kagulu-Kalema

2010

David Kagulu-Kalema graduated from Episcopal in 2010 where he served as a Senior Monitor, member of the Discipline Committee, Head Waiter, and Captain of the soccer and basketball teams.   


David is the Founder and CEO of The Coin Flyp, an online sports media company that specializes in stories of change for transitioning college and professional athletes. David graduated Cum Laude from Amherst College in 2014 with a B.A. in Sociology. He launched his career in the entrepreneurship space, first working for Social Enterprise @ Goizueta, a social entrepreneurship center at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School in Atlanta. While there, he helped 35 metro Atlanta entrepreneurs start businesses and access early-stage capital. Afterward he joined Endeavor Global in New York where he managed a portfolio of high-growth tech companies in 20 countries and helped them raise more than $40M in venture capital. David now resides in Brooklyn, NY where he is running his digital media startup and working to build his career as a founder and multimedia storyteller.
